Call to Rebuild

America is a nation that was founded by men and women who were deeply devoted to God. Biblical principles were enshrined into every aspect of society, including government and education. In 250 years since then, this foundation has been destroyed in many areas akin to the walls being broken and now in need of repair. America’s rededication which we covered last week was a key turning point.
Nehemiah chapters 3 and 4 unpacks great insight from the rebuilding of Jerusalem that can be applied to rebuilding a Godly nation.
Everyone Had a Role
If you read Nehemiah chapter 3, you will notice a fairly precise description of who was responsible for rebuilding a specific section or gate around Jerusalem. It's interesting that Hananiah, a ‘perfume maker’ (v8), someone we would deem unqualified as a builder, stepped up to help. Then there was Shallum who worked on a section ‘with his daughters’ (v12). This is speaking to me that God is recruiting all of us to help rebuild our nation regardless of our skill set or position in life.
Rebuilding in the face of Opposition
Nehemiah Chapter 4 and the overall book reveals there was constant opposition to the rebuilding of Jerusalem by troublemakers, mockers and even those that threatened to kill the rebuilders. Jeremiah encouraged the Jews to ‘not be afraid’ (v13) and reminded them ‘our God will fight for us!’ (v19). The builders were equipped with a tool in hand and a sword by their side (v17-18). We likewise need to work in rebuilding a Godly nation in the face of social opposition and equip ourselves with the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17).
Take Action
What is your role in rebuilding your nation, your state, your city, your neighborhood? I’m being prompted as I write this to get together with a few neighbors that follow Christ in our community park to pray together…not sure where that leads but I’ll start there. Ask Holy Spirit for your assignment in rebuilding.
“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Data Center Cooling Investment Opportunities

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to work with a Crypto Mining Company that had brought to market a relatively new method of “cooling” Mining Machines called “immersion cooling.”
Essentially, computer hardware used to mine Bitcoin was submerged in a thermally conductive, non-conductive dielectric fluid that was far more efficient than traditional methods, such as using fans to cool the equipment.
Now, a similar cooling method is being implemented to cool AI data center equipment, thus potentially opening new opportunities for investors.
AI chips generate substantial heat; racks put out around 50+ kilowatts, essentially running 50 space heaters in a closet around the clock. Traditional AC can't handle it.
Enter liquid cooling: systems that pump coolant directly to the chips. This market hit $18.78 billion in 2025 and is projected to nearly triple to $54 billion by 2034. Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Meta are collectively spending over $380 billion on AI infrastructure, and every dollar creates cooling equipment demand.
Think of it as the picks-and-shovels approach. AI companies might succeed or fail, but the infrastructure providers that keep those data centers running get paid either way. In April 2026, President Trump invoked the Defense Production Act to designate data center infrastructure as essential to national defense, a strong signal of sustained government backing. And in March 2026, Ecolab paid $4.75 billion for liquid-cooling specialist CoolIT Systems at 29 times forward earnings. That is not a multiple you pay for a sleepy industrial business. That is the multiple you pay when you believe a transformation is coming and you don't want to be left out.
“But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”
Ways to Invest
Entry points range from hands-off to highly direct. On the public markets side, Vertiv (NYSE: VRT) is the most direct pure play in cooling equipment and data center power infrastructure, with a $15 billion backlog and Q1 2026 sales up 23%. Modine Manufacturing (NYSE: MOD) is smaller but growing faster, data center sales jumped 119%. Eaton (NYSE: ETN) and Carrier Global (NYSE: CARR) offer steadier, more diversified exposure. Industrial or infrastructure ETFs holding these companies provide broader participation without single-stock risk.
Beyond the stock market, accredited investors can access private equity funds from firms like Blackstone and KKR, which have each committed tens of billions to data center infrastructure. Data center REITs offer real-estate-backed exposure to the physical facilities themselves. For those with entrepreneurial interest, partnering directly with regional colocation operators is a growing avenue; these companies often seek capital partners for expansion and may offer equity or revenue-sharing arrangements, though this path requires careful due diligence.
Data centers power far more than social media; they support medical research, telemedicine, and the communication systems connecting individuals and companies worldwide. The infrastructure is a tool, neither good nor bad on its own. The AI boom might fizzle, and chip stocks may stumble, but as long as data centers exist, they will need cooling.

The Hidden Epidemic - Leaky Gut

“All disease begins in the gut.” - Hippocrates, The Father of Medicine
There’s a new term floating around called Leaky Gut which is when the holes that are in our intestinal wall get too big - from bad diet - larger molecules, such as gluten and casein, and other foreign microbes, can pass through and start wandering all over the body and into the blood stream which then cause systemic inflammation throughout the body. Any organ in the body can be affected when this happens. It can affect the thyroid, brain, adrenal glands, just to name a few.
One interesting finding which can contribute to the leaky gut, is the deadly addiction to being clean. Leaky gut is at ground zero of many of the country’s most confounding health crises.
Why is This Happening?
While any one factor could cause problems for our guts, several of these are converging at once, creating a perfect storm in the gut.
The corruption of the food supply. The surplus of excess sugars; unsprouted, hybridized grains; and other processed foods has simply devastated the gut. Of particular concern is gluten, which increasingly points to as a prime driver of leaky gut. When gluten is consumed, the body undergoes an inflammatory response and eventually releases the protein zonulin that unlocks the epithelial right junctions and keeps the gates of the gut wide open as long as it circulates in the blood.
The rise of environmental toxins. Each of us has the potential to come into contact with as many as eighty thousand untested environmental chemicals and toxins over the course of a single year. The widespread use of these pesticides, combined with the presence in our lives and diets of genetically modified crops, food additives and preservatives, and even household cleaners, and beauty products, has created a dangerous toxic load in our bodies that has degraded our gut health.
The overwhelming stress of modern life. Emotional stress exacts a real toll on our gut health and also weakens the immune system over time, crippling our ability to fight off invaders like bad bacteria and viruses, exacerbating any preexisting inflammation, and perpetuating leaky gut.
Unrelenting germ warfare. Our culture’s addiction to over sanitizing our hands and our homes, treating every ailment under the sun with broad-spectrum antibiotics, and overprocessing our food has corrupted our innate microbial balance. We’ve killed off many strains of beneficial microbes that used to fine-tune our genes and strategically train our immune system to handle pathogens, allergens and other threatening factors in the environment. This disruption of our gut’s healthy coexistence with the phytobiome, nature’s vast universe of microbes, has had deadly consequences, including a rise in related chronic disease, auto-immune dysfunction, and antibiotic resistance.
Overuse of medication. With seven in ten Americans on at least one prescription medication, NSAIDs and other painkillers consumed at record level, and antibiotics readily prescribed, synthetic drugs have hurt our guts by compromising our mucosal barrier, damaging our intestinal villi, and killing off beneficial bacteria on an unfathomable scale.
Almost all of us have swallowed ibuprofen for a headache, eaten processed foods, washed our hands with antibacterial soap, taken an antibiotic, or experienced chronic stress. Any of these on its own could damage the gut; combine a few of them, and leaky gut becomes almost inevitable.
How do we fix the leak? Simply Reconnect with ‘Old Friends’
On a cell-for-cell basis, we are 90% microbial. We don’t just live on earth, the earth lives in us. We need to start seeing those countless strains of bacteria, viruses, phages, parasites, and other microbes as ‘old friends’ that we’re welcoming back into our guts, so they can start protecting us again. This ‘old friends’ theory holds that if we can reclaim our microbial diversity through micro exposures - small, repeated exposures to the “dirt”, such as bacteria, soil, dust plants oils - we can establish the natural symbiotic relationship that we’ve always had with the microbes.
All we need to do to load up on our ‘old friends’ and get more of these micro exposures is easy, fun stuff we probably already love to do, such as: get back to eating seasonally and locally - support your local farmers; spend more time outdoors; hug our dogs after they roll around in the leaves; let our kids make mud pies and get their hands dirty on the playground.
And to make sure our ‘old friends’ feel safe and stick around, there are also a few things we shouldn’t do: freak out about germs; blast everything with sanitizers; take a pill for every single ache or pain. We can reverse many of our missteps, heal our gut, and recover from many of these diseases by making more basic and bacteria-rich choices in what we eat and how we live.
SIMPLY PUT, we need to eat dirt!

“By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”
