God's Wisdom: Unsearchable Things
One Big Beautiful Bill, Medical Sensors/Wearables, and a Story of Challenge

God at Work Devotional
Unsearchable Things

I once heard a prophet say that God’s wisdom imparts ‘anointed intelligence’, which is infinitely superior to ‘artificial intelligence’. I love that!
We type queries into a web search engine or AI prompt box and expect an answer that we can then take action upon. What if we could get a response without even typing a question or prompt? Sounds impossible.
Yet we are told God's wisdom is able to reveal unsearchable things.
It's deeper and greater than all knowledge composed by humans or ‘artificial’ means.
In Isaiah 55:9, God tells us that His ways and thoughts are higher than our ways and thoughts.
As a Christ follower we have access to this divine resource through our relationship with God.
We are told in Jeremiah 33:3 to “call unto” God, not ‘ask’. He already knows our thoughts and needs and is ready to respond beyond our expectations and even beyond what we can ask or imagine. (Ephesians 3:20)
So how does God “tell us great and unsearchable things” you ask?
This is where living a life in partnership with Holy Spirit is vital.
God speaks in many ways, starting with the Logos, or His written Word - the Bible. He also speaks through signs, dreams, visions and other means. Discernment via Holy Spirit will tune you into His frequency of communication with you.
Let’s learn to call unto God in all aspects of life and business. Then listen with your heart to Holy Spirit, who Jesus described as our Advocate, who will “teach you all things” (John 14:26)...including the unsearchable things.
“But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.”
Deuteronomy 8:18
Stories of Challenge
Praying for Mike in the Fiery Furnace
Today we’d like to spotlight our brother Mike, and ask you to uplift him in your prayers.
Mike is an entrepreneur who has been experiencing a season where everything seems to be falling apart.
A story of where, as an entrepreneur, in his words “you can literally be making all of the right moves, executing to precision, and getting the best outcomes such as landing meetings and collaborations with key figures in said space, but for some reason, not only does the “revenue growth needle not seem to move forward, it actually goes in reverse.”
Mike has been investing 14+ hours a day, nearly 7 days a week into his venture, and after 18 months, has seem to hit a steel wall.
Broken in hope, energy, financially, and spiritually, we provided words of encouragement to Mike and bible versus that we felt would deeply resonate with him in his current season.
Galatians 6:9, which says, "And let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
But more importantly - Psalm 16:8, which says, "I keep my eyes always on the LORD"
Sometimes the best thing we can do is to step back, rest in the lord, and seek his Word more than we seek to build our business.
Strive to reconnect with him, ask him to speak to you, to guide you, for his favor; put more effort into building a relationship with him than we do into building our own venture or resume.
When we experience such seasons in life, it’s easy to feel like everything is going against us.
But remember…
“If God is for us, then who can be against us”
We ask you to help us uplift our brother Mike in prayer for a renewal of strength, vision, hope, and energy.
Your story of faith can inspire others and bring God’s Kingdom to earth in our life and business.

Tech Update
Medical Sensors/Wearables and Anxiety
The Internet of Things (IoT) promised a future of a connected world to make life wonderful. I recall this while working for an IoT vendor some years back. Fast forward 10 yrs. and it’s great that we live in a connected world, but we have also become a hyper anxious world. Is it possible hyper connectivity is an underlying cause of anxiety? I believe so. Take medical sensors as an example. Medical sensors have become very commercialized and affordable in the last few years. In fact, the market is estimated to be over $50B this year and doubling in the next 3 years alone. Not surprising North America accounts for 39% of the market. Even the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is now planning to start encouraging the use of wearables. Consumers now have access to technology that once required a doctor’s visit to access. For example, you can now perform an electrocardiogram (ECG) from the comfort of your own home. In fact, an ad from one vendor encourages you to check your heart rate at breakfast, to make it a daily routine. While this may be beneficial for a small percentage of folks with chronic heart disease, I would argue that for the average person this may lead to undue anxiety and stress. In fact, a recent study indicated that ‘intense fear and anxiety’ could be increased by up to 20% in a study group of AFib sensor users. Similar devices monitor other vital functions to a degree that once also previously required a medical visit. The promise is to just wear a watch or sensor and track your body functions 24-7. | “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 Take Action:A quick disclaimer for you: We’re not providing medical guidance here. If you can benefit from a medical sensor, use it, but don’t let it be your source of peace or lack thereof. I would encourage all of us to turn to God as our 24-7 monitor. Trust Him to not just monitor our health, but to also heal us when needed. As a Christ follower we are called to dwell and rest in God’s protection. Consider His promise in Psalms 91:1, “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Furthermore we are instructed to “not be anxious about anything” in Philippians 4:6. I believe ‘anything’ here includes our health. ![]() |
Financial Update
One, Big, Beautiful Bill
As usual, there’s an ongoing debate between both sides of the aisle in regards to President Trump, and this time it’s over his “One, Big, Beautiful Bill.”
One side is trying to paint the picture that this bill is a net negative with no positive outcomes and will add up to $3.3T to the federal deficit over 10 years - while the other side is spotlighting facts that are not currently being considered, including the push to move away from income tax and relying on tariffs to supplement them.
In fact, some believe the actual number the One, Big, Beautiful Bill will add to the deficit over 10 years (with other factors in mind) would be closer to $300B, not $3.3T as the current mainstream media narrative suggests.
Peter Navarro, Senior Counselor for Trade and Manufacturing, had this to comment about the actual financial forecasts taking other factors (primarily the goal to move away from income tax) into account:
“When this revenue is layered onto the enhanced dynamic growth scenario, the projected budget impact from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act ranges from a modest $300 billion increase in the debt under the 2.2 percent growth assumption to as much as a $2 trillion surplus under the 2.7 percent growth assumption.”
This is what the bill includes -
Tax Provisions:
Extends Trump's 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act beyond its year-end expiration
Eliminates taxes on tips for service workers and overtime pay (both temporary through 2028)
Allows tax deductions up to $10,000 on auto loan interest for U.S.-assembled cars
Increases child tax credit by $500 to $2,500 through 2028
Raises the State and Local Tax Deduction cap from $10,000 to $40,000 for households earning up to $500,000
Eliminates the $200 tax on gun silencers
Imposes a 3.5% tax on remittances sent by non-U.S. citizens to their home countries
Border Security:
$46.5 billion for border wall construction
$4.1 billion to hire Border Patrol agents and personnel
Over $2 billion for Border Patrol signing and retention bonuses
Additional $1,000 fee for asylum applications
Other Key Provisions:
Creates "$1,000 Trump accounts" - federal savings accounts for children born 2024-2028
Medicaid work requirements for able-bodied adults without children ages 18-65
Raises work requirement age for food stamps from 54 to 64
Rolls back some Biden-era clean energy tax credits
The bill was sitting tied in the Senate at 50-50, then Vice President JD Vance cast the tie-breaking vote.
Now the bill heads back to the house for final review.
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
