Devotional

One Fruit, Nine Seed

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭23‬

My wife was recently given a revelation to consider the ‘fruit of the Spirit’ as a single fruit with nine distinct seeds in it. An interesting perspective I had not considered previously, but one that makes so much sense.

Holy Spirit is one and not subdivided. To think that we can have some of the seeds but not all is a self imposed limitation mindset.

I grew up thinking that as a Christian I needed to work on acquiring the fruit of the Spirit on an incremental journey of development. For example, today I'm going to try hard to work on my ‘patience’, and focus on that solely. I’m now learning how much this limited my spiritual development.

God does not desire that we live a partially fulfilled life. Jesus stated that He came to give us ‘life abundantly.’

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬)

Don't settle for a view that it's ok to have kindness but not love, patience but not joy, love but not self control, etc. We are called to be filled with the Spirit continually. I like the Amplified version on Ephesians 5:18, which says:

“Do not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness (corruption, stupidity), but be filled with the [Holy] Spirit and constantly guided by Him. ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭18

Desire God and His Holy Spirit in all He has to offer you. Desire and bear the fruit of the Spirit with all of its seeds.

Financial Update

The Rise of AI Financial Agents

In February, Coinbase announced that they're rolling out Agentic Wallets, AI-powered assistants that can trade, invest, and manage your cryptocurrency 24/7.

These AI agents watch markets around the clock, automatically managing or rebalancing your money when better opportunities arise. They execute trades without emotional bias, no panic selling, or panic buying. They even pay for their own costs and move faster than any manual trader. It’s an appealing option for anyone, investment-savvy individuals included.

However, even the most advanced technology is just a tool, and no tool is perfect. Late February gave us a perfect example: an AI agent was asked to send $310 to another account, and accidentally sent $441,780 instead. Another got hacked and lost over $106,000. Stanford researchers found that human-AI teams outperform fully autonomous agents nearly 69% of the time. These agents can misread instructions, mess up calculations, or act on bad information.

Regulators such as the SEC and FINRA have made it crystal clear: if your AI agent makes a disastrous trade, the custodian (owner of the platform) will be held responsible. There's no passing the blame to the AI agent.

Proverbs 27:23

Whether you're managing sheep or digital assets, the wisdom of Proverbs 27:23 holds true; neither should be treated passively. These AI agents need spending limits, monitoring, and human oversight on major decisions.

The traditional finance world is already on board. Major banks are testing AI agents for fraud detection and risk management, with 44% of finance teams expected to use this technology by year's end. But they're building governance frameworks, explainability tools, and kill switches before scaling up. The lesson: automation without accountability is not an option.

AI financial agents aren't going away. They're already reshaping investing, and that trend will accelerate. The real question is whether we'll approach this technology with wisdom and humility. These agents might trade at lightning speed, but prudent decision-making still needs time for prayer and human judgment. Some things can't be automated.

Tech Update

Vibe Coding

Vibe Coding is one of the latest and hottest trends in technology innovation and software development.  It refers to the use of generative AI to produce the software code for an application and iterate on it, without knowing anything about coding.  It has become quite appealing in the creation of prototypes from a conceptual idea, without requiring weeks/months of software development and the associated costs.

I experienced a powerful example of this recently when Jon used Base44 to create a mockup for a new app we’ve been innovating on. At first glance the output looked like a full functional platform and App that was already in production, until I learned the backend required additional work for this to go live. Nevertheless, it was a powerful tool for prototyping.

Vibe coding is actively being used for relatively simple tasks like creating a website for a small business, building a landing page for a marketing campaign, or setting up a wedding invitation/planning site.

Vibe coding adoption is ramping up rapidly by both novice and professionals alike. In fact, over 80% of developers globally report using AI coding tools at least weekly, with over 90% using it daily across the U.S.  In addition, about 87% of Fortune 500 companies are reported to have adopted at least one vibe‑coding platform.

The software developer landscape is changing as a result. New job roles are emerging looking for experience as a “vibe coder” or describing the need for an “AI‑first developer,” where the core skill is orchestrating AI to build software quickly.

So use it or embrace it where you can to make an impact both in your career or personal life.  If you have Vibe Coding projects that are being developed for expanding the Kingdom, we should love to hear about it and share with the community.

“Intelligent people are always ready to learn. Their ears are open for knowledge.”

A2“cultured” Milk - What is it?

A2 cultured milk, which contains A2 beta-casein, is much easier to digest than the pasteurized and homogenized milk. Between 95-98% of dairy cattle in the United States come from two breeds whose milk contains A1 beta-casein. Like gluten, A1 beta-casein has been linked to pro-inflammatory reactions, neurological and immunological issues, and digestive problems.

If you experience discomfort from conventional milk, switching to milk without A1 beta-casein, such as A2 cow milk or goat, sheep, and water buffalo dairy, will likely be more tolerable for you.

The milk of our ancestors has seven characteristics that made it virtually perfect. It was: organic, A2, raw/unpasteurized, non-homogenized, grass fed/pasture raised, cultured/fermented and whole.  We are going to see more and more of these types of milk in the grocery stores.

Cows, for instance, must roam free in pastures throughout the grazing season, with at least 30% of their diet sourced from these lush fields, free of pesticides. They are kept free of growth hormones and antibiotics. Some studies suggest that organic milk contains higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids and certain antioxidants, which could contribute to overall better health.

According to an article in the BiblioDiet Book, pigs earn the championship trophy for eating anything and everything; many dairy cows don’t fall too far behind.  At least two dairies use the waste that would normally be dumped in landfills, including expired baked goods, fruits, and chocolate, to feed their cows. Why? It’s cheaper. One farmer claimed that this dietary addition, which includes a ration of about fifteen chocolate bars a day, “is a great source of energy” and that sugar “can actually help improve milk components.” Some dairies, particularly those that are close to candy factories, purchase sugary confections, like Skittles, in bulk and at discounted prices to add to their dairy cow feed. When corn prices began to soar in 2021, savvy farmers sweetened their cows’ diets by incorporating corn syrup-laden (another unhealthy ingredient - emphasis mine) candy as an alternative feed. Now how worrisome is that!

“And if the Lord is pleased with us, he will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing with milk and honey.”
