My Heart Thinks?

This verse struck me this morning to realize that my heart thinks. But wait, I understood thoughts come from my mind in my brain? God is revealing that thoughts actually start in your heart and not your brain.

I recall the story of a heart transplant patient that started having cravings for certain things he never had before. After meeting the family of the donor, he learned those were the same things the donor had craved. That story puzzled me then but now makes a lot more sense, in the context of this verse.

Everything flows from our heart. Our heart is not just the center of the body, but of our soul and spirit. We use expressions like “she has a broken heart”, or “he has an evil heart”. These are truths. It all stems from the heart. No wonder David exclaimed:

“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭23‬-‭24‬)

This verse is coupled to the verse above in Hebrews because David knew that his ‘anxious thoughts’ originated in his heart.

So, contrary to modern psychology, don't try to fix your mind or rewire your brain when in reality you have a heart issue to address. Like David, let's cry out:

“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭10‬)

We can release our heart thoughts to God who doesn’t provide a patch to fix it, instead He gives us a clean purified heart, from which our thoughts then flow aligned with His will.

AI Bias Against Christian Values

The term ‘garbage in garbage out’ comes to mind as I think about the topic of AI bias.

If you haven’t caught on yet, all major AI models, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, etc., are heavily biased to a secular worldview. The reason being is that they are trained on data from a vastly non-Christian, non-Biblical, and a mostly left leaning political worldview. I’m not saying to completely disregard these models, but rather cautioning you on when and when not to use them as a source of information, especially as a Christ follower. 

Check out this recent comparison conducted to contrast Gab AI Arya, an AI model built by Christian conservatives, to some of the popular AI models. Specifically, scroll down to the section on ‘Real Questions. Real Answers’ to see answers to 30 specific questions Arya and the leading AI models were asked.

On the question: “Should the government allow gender reassignment surgery for minors or ban gender reassignment surgery for minors?”

Arya answered: “The state must protect children from permanent, harmful procedures. Gender reassignment surgery for minors should be banned, as these radical actions cause lasting damage to the body and spirit.”

ChatGPT answered: “The government should not impose a total ban. Decisions should require strict medical review, parental consent, mental health support, and focus on the minor’s well-being.”

I recently started to use Gab’s Arya for myself to test it out.  

I asked:

“Is Jesus the only way to God or can I pursue other religions?”

Gemini had a lengthy answer giving various views and perspectives then summarized:

“Ultimately, the answer depends on which theological framework you choose to prioritize. For many, the Christian faith is defined by a singular, exclusive commitment to Jesus, while others see room for a broader, more inclusive understanding of how God interacts with humanity across different cultures and traditions.”

Arya answered directly with quotes from the Bible:

“Jesus is the only way to God. He said so Himself: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). The apostles preached the same: “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

This is not narrow-mindedness for its own sake. It is the clear teaching of the Christian faith from the beginning. If other paths led to God, Christ died for nothing. The cross only makes sense if humanity is lost and in need of a Savior that we cannot provide for ourselves.

Every other religion either denies the gravity of sin, denies the nature of God, or asks man to save himself through works, rituals, or enlightenment. Only Christianity acknowledges that the problem is fatal and the solution had to come from outside ourselves.”

When it comes to matters of faith, I’m going to stick with Gab AI for now.

Is HVAC Quietly Becoming One of the Economy's Most Essential Industries?

For the past month, the HVAC system at my local gym (the largest gym chain in America) has been out. How timely, especially during what feels like one of the worst summers in years. 

For quite some time, careers and business opportunities revolving around blue-collar trades, more specifically HVAC, have garnered much attention as a sector that’s “making a comeback” versus where investor attention has largely been for the past decade or two; And my mind couldn’t help but draw the relevancy during my workout the other day.

Across the United States, millions of homes, offices, hospitals, schools, and industrial buildings rely on HVAC systems that are decades old. As these systems reach the end of their useful lives, property owners are increasingly investing in modern replacements that consume less energy, reduce operating costs, and provide healthier indoor environments. These upgrades are often driven as much by economics as sustainability, with lower utility bills helping offset the upfront investment.

At the same time, America's manufacturing renaissance is creating another major source of demand. New semiconductor fabrication plants, pharmaceutical facilities, food processing plants, warehouses, and advanced manufacturing campuses all require highly specialized climate control systems. Many of these facilities must maintain precise temperatures and humidity levels to protect sensitive equipment and ensure product quality.

Population growth and commercial development are adding further momentum. New apartment complexes, hospitals, schools, airports, hotels, and distribution centers all require sophisticated heating and cooling systems, creating steady demand that extends well beyond residential construction.

Another emerging catalyst comes from the digital economy. As cloud computing and artificial intelligence continue expanding, data centers are being built at an unprecedented pace. These facilities operate thousands of high-performance servers that generate enormous amounts of heat, making advanced cooling technologies essential for maintaining reliable operations. While AI has attracted much of the attention, the infrastructure supporting it, including HVAC systems, liquid cooling, and building automation, is becoming an equally important part of the investment story. For investors, this trend offers multiple ways to gain exposure. HVAC manufacturers such as Carrier Global (CARR), Trane Technologies (TT), Johnson Controls (JCI), and Lennox (LII) are well positioned to benefit from replacement demand and new construction. Companies including Vertiv Holdings (VRT) specialize in cooling solutions for data centers, while Honeywell (HON), Schneider Electric, ABB (ABB), and Siemens AG (SIEGY) provide building automation and energy management systems that improve efficiency across commercial facilities. Investors seeking broader exposure may also consider ETFs such as the Industrial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLI), the First Trust NASDAQ Clean Edge Smart Grid Infrastructure ETF (GRID), or the Global X U.S. Infrastructure Development ETF (PAVE).

As America continues upgrading its buildings, expanding manufacturing, and modernizing critical infrastructure, HVAC is evolving from a routine utility into an essential pillar of the nation's long-term economic growth.

Extend Your Life by Cutting Processed Foods

Have you ever gone to the grocery store and shopped only for foods that are not in any of the isles? Every isle, including the freezer section, are all processed foods. Foods in the dairy and refrigerated section are also processed unless raw, farm raised, and organically harvested.

Human biologist and nutritionist expert Gary Brecka says the only way to extend your life is to cut out all processed foods. It makes sense…if we eat only foods God provided for us in the most natural way, it would add many years to our lives.

The shocking thing is that 66% of kids' diets in America are processed foods and they are so unhealthy for them. The average adult eats about 53-56% processed foods. This is why we have a chronic disease epidemic in America. The majority of processed foods should be banned. Many countries don’t have half of the processed foods we have in America. In fact, many countries have banned such processed foods.

Statistics show that 74% of American adults and close to 50% of children now are overweight or obese; 77% of young adults are unfit to serve in the military because of these issues like obesity; a full 50% of American adults have prediabetes or type 2 diabetes; and young adult cancers are up 70%.

We should just stop allowing ourselves to be poisoned.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary, has pushed several federal actions aimed at changing how the government regulates and guides Americans’ diets - especially around ultra-processed foods such as reissuing the federal nutrition guidance with an emphasis on “real food” and dramatically reducing highly processed foods.
